The new league fixtures have just been officially announced, Tonka will play in division two for the third consecutive season and will be joined by the following teams:
AS Beens, Dearne Galacticos (promoted), Inter Barnsley (promoted), Men From Madrid, South Yorkshire FC, (promoted), Sososooner, Swinton FC (ex Pezaldinho's), and Wasted Little DJ's (relegated).
The cup group also sees Tonka play 2 matches in one night on two seperate weeks, Tonka have been drawn in a fairly tough group of:
Swinton Terriers (Div 1), Azza (Div 1), South Yorkshire (Div 2), AC Kostal (Div 3).
After two close seasons chasing promotion the bookies have made Tonka 2nd favourites for the division 2 crown this season, get voting on the poll to register your vote. On a side note can everyone make sure they bring their money before kick off this season as the organisers are running a no pay-no play scheme.
And to those at AFC Swinton who think that Footlong will be playing for them this season ..... ttake a look at the photos section where some serious tapping up was involved to lure Mart to Tonka, watch this space.
